River City Ironwork takes on demanding steel construction and repair across the Midwest. Based in St. Louis, we work with general contractors, owners, and public agencies on bridges, rail infrastructure, industrial facilities, commercial buildings, and water treatment plants. Our crews install structural steel, reinforcing steel, and post-tensioning systems. We erect and dismantle tower cranes and buckhoists, install access and finishing steel, and repair existing structures that need to remain in service. We bring decades of field experience to jobs where access is restricted, lifts are complex, and construction has to work around active operations. From bridge repairs above live rail lines to installations inside operating facilities, we understand what the conditions demand of the crew and the plan. Before mobilizing, we work through the installation sequence, equipment needs, and coordination with other trades. When conditions change, we make decisions with the project team and keep the work moving safely. We take ownership of our scope, give straight answers, and follow through.
