SCOPE OF WORK
Structural work associated with a 700'+ long and 60'+ tall riverfront retaining structure at the City of St. Louis' barge loading and unloading This project involved structural work on a riverfront retaining structure more than 700 feet long and 60 feet tall at the City of St. Louis’ barge loading and unloading docks. The scope included driven pile and concrete wall construction to protect the riverbank and support the facility.
The crew worked directly along the Mississippi River, where navigable water, difficult access, and changing river conditions shaped how the work could proceed. Active barge operations added another constraint to moving materials and equipment into position.
With the docks remaining in operation, the team had to coordinate construction around loading and unloading activity and adjust to conditions along the river.
