SCOPE OF WORK
This project involved installing structural steel for the St. Louis University School of Medicine, from the lower levels through the central core and elevator shaft to the upper portions of the building. The scope included framing for the upper floors and the 15th-floor mezzanine.
As construction moved upward, the crew erected and aligned steel around the core, elevator shaft, and other active work areas. Each level established the conditions for the work above, making installation order and alignment important throughout the structure.
The crew had to coordinate that progression with other construction operations so each floor was ready for the next stage and the work supported the building’s overall schedule.
